We are selling this beautiful original pochoir print by Henri Matisse (1869-1954) titled Icarus.

Icarus is plate VIII from the series “Jazz” that depicts scenes of circus, travels, mythology, and fairy tales. 

It is published in June 1944, signed and dated in print. Then later signed and dated in July 1947 in pencil perhaps as a gift. 

As shown in the last photo, it has the original watermark, which separates it from later reproductions.
