The making of the Moon Bear

I wanted to do a drawing that illustrates the feeling os being tied. So tied, that you can fall asleep anywhere. So I came up with a bear on the moon surrounded by starts. I stated by drawing a pencil sketch, which I alway do. I then switched to a piece of 70x50 recycled cardboard and traced the outline with first pencil, then ballpoint pen. I then started doing the background  which took 3-4 days and then the bear. I really like this drawing and it will remain one of my personal favorites for a long time.
